I’m a former Clorox wipes addict, ex-Norwex seller, and now full blown DIY advocate!

I never questioned what was in my cleaning products. If they were sold at the store, they were safe in my book. That all changed when I started learning about the toxins hiding in everyday cleaners…and I was appalled (to say the least) that I’d been tricked for so long.

I got introduced to Norwex and loved the idea and the mission. So I started selling their products and spreading the word about toxins. But something didn’t sit right with me.

I cringed telling moms how toxic their products were and then handing them a $30-$100 price tag as the solution. And it didn’t end there…my own mom (a retired grandma on a fixed income) was my best customers. And I felt terrible every single time she placed an order. That was the moment I knew this wasn’t the answer.

So I went a different route. I started studying the ingredients that non-toxic brands actually use and discovered something that changed everything: most cleaners rely on the same few simple, natural ingredients. I started researching DIYs and kept running into vinegar as the holy grail solution. So I tried it…but let me tell you, the moment my son walked past his freshly cleaned bathroom and said “what is that smell?!” I was done. Vinegar isn’t safe for all surfaces anyway, so I ditched it completely and never looked back.

After testing and perfecting my own vinegar-free formulas I replaced every single toxic cleaner in my home.

And now, I’m honored to have helped over 400 moms ditch the toxins and take control of their cleaning routines without the overwhelm, the greenwashing, or the price tags that come with it.

That’s exactly why I created Simple Clean Home. Because every mom deserves a safe, clean home without the overwhelm or the price tag that usually comes with it.
